We have had hot temperatures this week, and the air has been extremely smokey with all the local forest fires. Things are moving along – the excavator was able to backfill 5′ of pit run against the basement walls to make work easier for the framing crew as they mobilize their equipment and scaffolding. The bulk of the floor framing materials package was delivered early this week, and the framing crew has started to frame the bearing and pony walls in the basement and crawlspaces, and have completed layout and plates around the perimeter. We expect the remaining floor joist package to be delivered first thing Monday morning so the crew can start installing the joists.
