Another week of beautiful hot weather and some thunderstorms thrown in. Monday morning the crane arrived to set both chimney caps. The masons set the exterior hearth, and will be back again once the bluestone shipment arrives. The excavator prepped the fire pit and the hot tub. The painters finished stain/lacquer in the ARU, and are working in the master wing; they should wrap up tomorrow with two coats on the ceiling and 1 coat on the walls. The sheetrockers are working on tape and texture in the great room/kitchen areas, and will start hanging the basement on Monday. The insulators are finishing the basement ceiling this week, as well as the truss ceiling insulation over the mudroom/kitchen/breakfast rooms. The trim package for the master wing arrived on Monday, and doors are expected next week. The trim crew has a few more days of window trim and baseboard in the guest wing before they move into the master wing. The tile guy finished up the shower at the ARU, and the shower doors will be measured for fabrication first thing next week. The floor at the ARU is installed, and they are working on sanding today, and hope to get a coat of stain on tomorrow.
