The carpenters are finishing up in the upstairs baths, now that the shower jambs are installed and they can run trim and paneling in those areas. They are also installing trim in the basement and the Mudroom, and hanging doors and installing door hardware. The tile crew is finishing up the upstairs baths, and also working in the Guest Master Bath. The masons are making good progress on the east terrace, and should be starting on the stone around the hot tub next week, after the snow melt tubing is run around the top of the hot tub enclosure. We will be hooking up the hot tub next week, and filling it with water to check that everything operates. After that, we will drain the tub, and the rock work around the top can be installed. The front door arrived yesterday (picture of it laying on it’s side in the garage), and will be installed early next week. The electricians are installing fixtures where they can, and we will unwrap all of the columns next week so they can install sconces where the occur. We will also work on the weathering patina on the columns that have fresh faces on them. The plumbers will be back next week to set fixtures in the upstairs baths. We are working on the site, getting it ready for the excavator to return next week and start the landscape prep. work. The cabinets are almost complete in the Wine Room, only some trim remaining. The rest of the basement cabinets are installed, except for the bunk beds, which arrive on Monday. – – – Dave
