More finishing touches this week. After a meeting on Monday with TDF, the electricians have mostly completed hanging decorative light fixtures to the recommended heights. The AV guys delivered the rack for the basement, and are installing the remaining keypads, thermostats, and speakers. Watchguard has the smoke detection system in place and tied into fire sprinklers for the final inspection. HVAC completed the last of the work on the furnaces, and will return next week to install the remaining registers and grilles. They also completed install of the AC condensers, which will be charged up in the spring. The granite installers finished the BBQ countertop and backsplash, the kitchen range backsplash, and the last two pieces of the fireplace surround. The last of the tile has been grouted in the master shower, and the glass shower doors installed. The painters have finished stain and lacquer on all the trim and doors, and are prepping for final paint throughout the house. Paul finished trimming out the garage, and is installing the remaining door hardware and taking care of other finishing details. The remaining appliances are awaiting install for early next week. Boreal was able to mobilize a machine to lower the topsoil pile on the west side of the house and fill in all the open irrigation trenches.
