Bob & Stacey –

Despite a fairly wet (and muddy!) week, progress was made.  The carpenters worked on the front entry timbers, the Master Bedroom wood ceiling, and blocking/window return shimming for drywall.  The masons started the bluestone on the Living Room terrace, and the roofers worked all but one day installing the standing seam metal roofing, which looks great.  The electricians are finishing up the interior walls and ceilings on the upper and main floors, and the plumbers are doing the same, including setting the tub in Bath 202.  The HVAC crew was working in the basement most of the week, after finishing up running all of the fireplace flues.  The insulator started the spray foam on the exterior walls on the main level, and is about half done.  We have been vacuuming out all of the walls ahead of them, and re-tightening all bolts on the base plates and hold downs.  The interior doors for the 2nd floor should arrive next week, so we will be setting doors so that we can put up the “mock” trim ahead of drywall.  The excavator got shut out this week due to the rain.  It is sunny now, and is supposed to be nice through the weekend – and hopefully next week!  – – – Dave
