Bob & Stacey –
The carpenters are working on the exterior siding, soffit, and fascia, and also the reclaimed timber lintels and trim. Wall straightening and blocking, along with some drop ceilings, is being done on the interior. The electricians, plumbers, HVAC crew, fire sprinkler sub., A/V, and security sub. are all continuing with rough-in. We are hoping to get an electrical inspection next week on the upper floor, so that we can then schedule the framing inspection, and start the spray foam insulation. The masons are putting up a lot of rock, as they close in on the back side of the house. They are also working on the stone for the retaining walls on the back of the house. The front retaining walls are all poured, and the drain mat is being installed and backfill has begun. It will be nice to get the front all backfilled and start the work on the front entry porch. Chris with Craftsman Cabinets has done his field measurements, and is starting shop drawings. The interior door builder is purchasing material, and should have shop drawings and a door list next week. I’ve initiated the order for the steel and glass doors, and the garage doors. More exterior reclaimed material is schedule to arrive today. Two steel workers are pricing the interior stairs. Have a great 4th of July weekend! – – – Dave
