The framing crew is continuing with the roof framing and sheathing this week. They have been working on the overbuild areas (where roof planes overlap), trimming rafter tails to length and applying the subfascia (board at the edge of the roof), and sheathing and installing the roofing “paper” to dry in the roof. They have sheathed the floor at Bedroom #3, and are working on the wall framing in that room. They are also framing the interior walls in the Master Bedroom, and cleaning out the basement to start the partition wall framing on that level. As the roof framing moves towards completion, they will also push to complete the interior wall framing so that we can soon start the subs. roughing-in the HVAC, plumbing and electrical. Good week weather-wise for framing, up until noon today, when a strong front blew in and chased them off the roof and inside to frame walls. – – Dave
