This week – today, in fact – we’ve seen sun, rain, calm snow, a blizzard-like whiteout, sleet, and gale-force winds. I’m not sure whether to advise you to bring rain boots or snow boots for your visit next week. The crew worked mostly outside all week, getting the decking finished up, and tying up some loose ends on the exterior finish. The railings have been ordered, and we expect shop drawings next week. The electrician wrapped up his rough-in, and is working on completing the phone/cable/internet wiring before his final inspection on Monday. The plumber was back to install the tub/shower rough-in valves, and the tubs. We expect the building inspector tomorrow for a final walk-through prior to insulation. Absolute Foam Insulation will be here Monday to begin insulating the ceilings and attic spaces, caulking doors and windows, and prepping for the spray-foam insulation. We have engaged Woodworld in some final value engineering exercises prior to shop drawings and expect to have that info back by the end of day tomorrow.
