Beautiful weather up until today, which feels like the first day of winter. A few inches of snow in the valley, but tomorrow it is supposed to clear up. The roofers were back this week, and worked on the Guest Master wing. The last of the chimney work finished up yesterday, and they now have the rest of the roof to finish up, which should happen tomorrow and next week. The masons are setting the bluestone on the front walkway, and should have that finished in a few days. The drywall crew has started hanging drywall on the upper level, working from east to west. The carpenters are staying ahead of them with the faux trim, blocking, and shimming window jambs. The timber crew is installing the timber trim on the exterior of the Living Room. The interior doors for the main level arrived this week, and they will start the install on those early next week. The cabinets are in production, and we should be seeing the first phase, upstairs, starting the first week of Jan. We are working with the stair manufacturer on the stair details, and should be seeing shop drawings and finish samples in a few weeks. – – – Dave
