Starting to feel more like Spring. The snow is gone from the site, and the ground has dried out this week. The carpenters are continuing with the exterior siding, and the big sliding door unit is installed at the Screened Porch. The masons started to lay stone today, and should be working their way around the house fairly quickly. The insulator installed the spray foam on the floor of the Garage this morning, and we will be pouring that slab next week. Also hope to get the topping slab poured on the main floor later next week. The roofers have been working on the upper roof, installing the cedar shakes. Plumbers and electricians are roughing-in, as is the heating crew, with ductwork starting to be run. They are working from the top/down, so that we can start insulation as soon as they finish upstairs. – – – Dave
