The mason returned this week with a crane to place the concrete cap on the chimney. O’Brien’s masons are also hard at work on the terraces, and have made their way around the north living room terrace. The garage door was installed this week, and the painter is on site and can stain it any time. His crew is working inside right now masking off the windows and conditioning the window jambs before staining. Bell Hardwoods wrapped up the flooring install, sanding, staining, and first two coats of finish. It looks great, and we have covered all the high-traffic areas with rolls of cardboard until the end of the project. The countertop installers were on site Wednesday and Thursday, so all the cabinet units have their tops. They will return in a couple weeks to install a few more ledge pieces. The interior window and door trim is complete, and the guys are now working on installing baseboard and other finishing touches. Mirrors and shower glass were measured and ordered on Thursday. The interior stair railing is scheduled for install next week, and we hope to get the tile guys back for the backsplashes.
