Great progress was made this week with the cabinets. The bathrooms are fully installed, as are the kitchen, pantry and living room. Everything looks great. DLS Countertops was onsite last week; they made templates of all the countertops, and took the kitchen and bathroom sinks to make cutout templates. All the baseboard has been pre-stained for install early next week. The flooring was delivered on Monday and staged throughout the house. Bell Hardwoods will start install next week. The interior trim is coming along and looks great – the guest bedroom wings are complete, and he’s working on the hallway and media room. The tile layers completed the remaining tiled areas late last week, and have grouted everything. They’ll return for the kitchen next month. 4 or 5 loads of crushed gravel were delivered today for the terrace prep. Pete hopes to start in on that tomorrow or Saturday, but we’re expecting some extreme weather over the weekend and through to next week.
