After a significant storm last weekend, the valley saw a light dusting of new snow this week, and sub-zero temperatures. A little bit of everything! Electrical rough-in is nearing completion. The master/office wing are complete, the kitchen is complete, and the living room is in progress. The roofer returned on Monday to install the membrane on the decks outside, and the sleepers are cut and ready to go. The decking was delivered yesterday and the crew will keep working to complete the deck early next week, in addition to tying up some loose ends on the exterior. The living room fireplace was finally installed on Tuesday and looks great. The mason is eager to get started once the final decision is made regarding stone and layout. We are narrowing down cabinet and countertop options, while waiting for 1 more countertop price. We expect the front and garage entry doors to be fabricated and delivered in the next couple weeks, and can then finish up the siding on those areas of the house.
