We had beautiful weather this week to continue framing. The crew finished framing the garage, and rolled all the garage/attic trusses. The roof was sheeted, and the cold roofs are finished throughout the house. We scheduled the shear wall inspection for Wednesday and passed – this was for the exterior shear and holddowns. When we get our final framing inspection, they will inspect the shear walls and the holddowns on the interior walls. The timber install is complete, and the deck framing will start tomorrow or early next week.
The painter was onsite to start staining the cedar fascia in Tile Red. He will continue to work on it so the guys will have it all installed by the end of next week and ready for the roofer to dry in. Windows are scheduled to land on the jobsite Thursday morning, and the crew will start installing them shortly after that – following the install of the housewrap.
