So it looks like you will get a garage after all! Garage wall framing was completed this week, and the crew was rolling garage trusses while I was onsite this afternoon. The roof sheeting is complete (except for the garage), and most of the cold roof vents were framed and hoisted in to place. The guys are still working on the timbers, blocking, stairs, deck framing, and other miscellaneous framing details. They will definitely be working through next week to complete all this.
All the cedar fascia and trim arrived on site today, and the painter will get started pre-staining it all tomorrow (weather depending). We ordered the siding and soffit materials from the supplier. The excavator and electrician are lined up to bring power to the building in a couple weeks.
We’ve skirted a rainy forecast all week, and experienced some beautiful warm days. Rain is in the forecast for tonight, tomorrow and the weekend, but shouldn’t be too bad.
