Zimmerman 8/18/17

The countdown to certificate of occupancy has begun for the ARU. Last week carpet, appliances, and door hardware were installed, and plumbing trim out and the final coat of poly on the floors were also completed. Watchguard has set up a temporary panel that activates the smoke detectors for our final inspection. The county engineer signed off on the septic tanks and leach field for both permits. The garage door motor, shower glass, and electrical trim out were completed this week, and we passed the blower door test which is now required by Teton County. The remaining concrete slabs were poured Monday, and the masons have been busy with the bluestone terraces. They wrapped up the interior stone work, and they’ve started laying block for the hot tub and fire pit construction. Painters have finished stain and lacquer on the east wing, and have prepped for final coat of paint. The trim crew is working through the center of the house installing casing and doors. The propane tank was delivered and inspected, and will be buried and filled next week. The plumbers completed and pressurized the gas line in the main house, and are ready to install the boiler and floor heat components next week. We will have a short week next week with the eclipse – everyone will take Monday off, and we’ll see how traffic is on Tuesday!
