The tile setters continued working this week in the guest bedrooms and are mostly wrapped up. They will save the last pieces of tile until after the slab thresholds and shelves have been set. All the interior doors in the guest wing have been hung, and the carpenters are starting to put together the interior trim pieces for install around the doors. The drywall crew has finished hanging sheetrock in the master wing, and the inspector signed off on that part of the house just after lunch. The taping/texture will start tomorrow morning, and the hanging crew will move into the great room/kitchen area. The knee braces on the exterior are almost all installed, and the masons are still working on the great room chimney and front entry. The basement should be ready for rough-in inspection soon and we’ll have the insulators down there soon after that.
