Another gray week, with several inches of snow falling from Sunday night through Wednesday. Rain will continue through the weekend, but the crew was still able to wrap up all the soffit at the front entry, and install a few more windows and doors. The breakfast room pergola timbers are complete and the fir decking is going up. The electricians have pulled home run wires for the lights on the west end of the house back to the mechanical room, and almost all of the light rough-in boxes have been placed. The plumber and HVAC continue to work on pipes and duct rough-in. We had a several productive site meetings – 1 with Video Vision/VP Electric, 1 with the plumber to discuss zoning and manifold locations for the radiant floor heat. The insulators sprayed the basement rim with foam, and finished the floor insulation at the ARU. The drywallers finished up the ARU Monday and Tuesday, and the painters started in on the primer, 2 coats on ceiling, and 1 coat on walls. The tile guys have prepped the ARU shower and should be ready to start laying tile once it arrives.
