Zimmerman 10/6/16

This week we have been faced with the beginning of winter. Monday and Tuesday were wet, cold and windy, and Wednesday and Thursday saw high winds, rain, and several inches of snow at the site. The weather is expected to improve over the next few days, and the crew plans to put in some long hours to regain momentum. They continue to work on exterior sheathing, truss bracing, and roof framing on the main house. The finish carpenters have been working on installing housewrap, roof membrane, and fascia on the ARU to prep the space for winter rough-in. They have also completed the exterior trim mock-up and a few stain samples for your approval. We hooked up internet at the site (currently getting 64 mbps with Charter’s economy package, Don) and will start to rearrange trailers, dumpsters, and materials over the coming weeks to prepare for winter plowing.
