Finally got the interior stain sample back from the Jeldwen crew, and it has been approved by all, so the windows will be ordered on Monday (that is their order day). The framing crew has removed the roof framing above the Rumpus Room, and will start framing in the new north dormer on Monday. The crane shows up Monday afternoon to set some of the larger beams in that area. They also installed the two large beams in the ceiling above the Master Suite, so they were able to sheath the new section of upper floor above the Master Bedroom and Hot Tub Room. The steel fabricator is working on the steel column that goes into the NE corner of the Hot Tub Room to carry the steel beam across the covered terrace. This column is now doing double duty, picking up the new rim board around the Hot Tub Room (replacing the rotten one), and needs to be set in place before we pour the supporting pier at this corner, and the other two exterior corners of this room. – – – Dave
