A wet start to the week, with rain on Monday and Tuesday, but the framing crew worked through the rain. The excavator had to pull off, and just got back on site today. The framers are making very good progress now that the floor is on, and have increased their crew size. The wall framing on the main level is underway, and we will be seeing a lot of walls being stood over the next few weeks before your visit. The concrete crew will be onsite tomorrow, starting the retaining wall footings and the piers on the north and east sides of the house. The excavator is finishing up the last of those pier locations, and will then be moving to the front of the house to excavate for the front porch and the adjacent retaining walls. I’m reviewing window shop drawings so that we can get those ordered early next week. Also reviewing roof truss drawings, and the second floor deck framing. – – – Dave
