Bob & Stacey –

Nice to have a week without snow, at least from a construction standpoint!  Temperature has warmed up a bit too, as we are supposed to have light snow showers through the weekend.  Our shipment of reclaimed material arrived yesterday, and we are moving the ceiling material inside, stacking it with spacers, and putting the heaters on it to get it good and dry before we install.  This will open up a lot of work for the carpenters.  In the meantime, they have been working on timbers and reclaimed trim on the main level, pocket doors in the basement, and the faux trim on the main level.  The drywall crew will be finishing up the texture on the upper floor today, and the drywall hangers are busy on the main level hanging the drywall.  The painters will start upstairs early next week, primer and 1st coat on the walls, and primer and both coats on the ceilings.  The tile crew has done what they can upstairs, and is awaiting the slab trim material so that they can finish up the showers and tub surround.  The HVAC crew, electricians, and plumbers are working on the rough-in in the basement, and pulling things together in the Mechanical Room.  The mason spent most of the week digging out his material and equipment, and will be starting on the interior stone next week.  – – – Dave
