John & Marlene –
The framing crew is getting the roof framing done, and almost have it closed in. They are working on the upper roof, framing the roof overhangs, overbuild areas, and sheathing the roof. They also installed the interior timber ridge beams, as those are much easier to set during the roof framing phase when they can be placed easier. They had a tough week weather-wise, as it was around zero in the mornings. It has warmed up a bit, and snow is predicted through Sunday. Chris and I have been working on the stain samples, and have most of them decided. I’ve got some more samples to do tonight, so hoping they are the last round, and we can get the colors to the pre-stainer tomorrow. Then we will turn to the interior finishes, and get all of those decisions nailed down. – – – Dave
