John & Marlene –
A busy week, as winter is knocking at our door. The excavator finished up around the house, building the berm out back, prepping the front walkway for the stone, and final grading. The HVAC crew fired up the gas boiler, and we are now heating with radiant floor heat on the main level. The masonry/tile crew has the Master Bath floor removed, and the new mat and cables are installed. They have also started the stone veneer on the fireplace, and should have that done by next week. Josh will be bringing the barn wood over next week, and we are prepped in the Master Bedroom for that. Most of the steel siding panels are rusted, and will start installing them next week. The wood flooring is acclimating, and as soon as the masons are done in the Living Room, that installation will start. The painters are continuing with the finish on the trim, timbers, and doors. – – – Dave
