This week, winter weather continued, and we received a good 3-4″ of snow last night. Pete’s Excavation started digging the trench for the water line and the sewer yesterday. The lines will run from the east side of the mudroom hallway wall, around the proposed driveway, and out to the street. The sheetrock crew finished their taping and mudding, and the walls were sanded smooth yesterday in preparation for the texture. They plan to wrap up everything and be out of there by Tuesday. The painter is schedule for Wednesday to start primer and first coat. The mason is also ready to go – the Weathered Buff thin veneer and several of the hearth pieces arrived on site.
