Great progress this week on the framing. We set the 2 main ridge beams over the Kitchen/Dining/Entry areas on Tuesday, and rafters are going up. The exterior wall framing at the front of the house is also underway. The house will really take on it’s shape over the next few weeks. The garage footings are formed, steel is tied, and inspected. The footings will be poured Monday morning. We were planning on pouring them this morning, but Monday was the earliest date available for the pump truck needed to reach the footings. The enclosure around the electrical service was framed, and we stepped the roof above the equipment down to follow the slope of the roof, and to break up the mass a bit. The electricians were onsite most of the week, roughing-in at the lower level. – – – Dave
