Ann –

The carpenters have installed all of the beam and post wraps on the main level, and just have the 2 posts in the basement at the stair opening to complete.  The widow sills are all installed, and they will be installing the baseboard over the wood and tile floor areas later next week.  The wood flooring is continuing, and they are almost to the Dining Room/Great Room transition.  The tile is done in the Master Bath, except for installing the slab pieces in the shower, and grouting the shower walls.  Jackson Paint & Glass has measured for the shower and tub/shower enclosures, and we just need to get a selection on the tub/shower units to have them all on order.  The painters are a day or two away from finishing up the basement, and will then move upstairs for trim and final coat on the walls. The countertop installation started today, and they will be back on Monday to finish up, although we are still waiting on the Powder Room sinks.  Of course, the big news this week was finding the waterline curb stop, which was inconveniently located underneath the Charter pedestal at the top of the driveway.  We should have pricing soon from Trey at Forest Lake on the horizontal boring.  He will send it to me this weekend, so will need a quick decision on Monday morning, as he would like to start early next week.  – – – Dave
