Another week of harsh temperatures early on, with heavy snow today. We’re expecting 4 inches overnight with more on the way over the weekend, but the warmer 15° temperatures are certainly welcome! More windows are being installed this week, and the crew has also transitioned to fascia and soffit install on the main house. The basement framing and bracing is wrapped up and the framers are working on remaining interior walls, drywall/siding blocking, miscellaneous infill framing, and timbers. The preliminary framing inspection on the main house was signed off last Friday, allowing us to move forward with 1″ insulation and rough-in. The cold temperatures meant that the insulators only completed the jr. master and exercise room, but we’ll have them back again as temperatures and schedule allow. Looking forward to your visit next week – should be a busy and productive time.
