Aside from the late start on Tues. due to the thunderstorm the night before, it’s been a good week for the excavator. The excavation is ready for footing forms from the Guest Master over to the Mud Room crawlspace area. They should have the Mud Room area done by the weekend, and finish up the Garage area early next week. The surveyor will be setting the building corner points in the hole tomorrow or Monday, and the concrete subcontractor will be starting on Monday to form the footings while Pete finishes up the Garage area. I’m meeting with Bonny & Mark Hershberger tomorrow morning to look at our options for increasing the level lawn area and playing field, to see if we can use the excess fill onsite, and increase the size of your future croquet, football, and bocci areas. The structural steel is in production, and the next steps are to get the timbers ordered and the 1st floor joist shop drawings approved so we can order them. Looking forward to pouring some concrete and getting out of the ground! —-Dave
