This was a short work week; we had perfect weather and very manageable crowds for the total solar eclipse. Everything stayed pretty quite on site Monday and Tuesday. The final electrical inspection was passed at the ARU on Tuesday morning, and the county building inspector signed off on the final inspection later that afternoon. This grants the certificate of occupancy for the ARU, and TFD is ready to start furniture install today. The masons finished the block wall for the hot tub and fire pit, and have almost wrapped up the ARU terrace and front entry terrace. The excavator backfilled the propane and septic tanks, and completed some more grading around the south side of the house. The painters returned to finish lacquer on the east wing trim and doors, and are starting on final coat of paint. The trim crew continues to work in the great room/kitchen/mudroom. Kitchen cabinets arrived on Wednesday and the installer is working on getting them in place and lined up for templating. We also picked up 500sf of flooring from GRL and have it stocked and waiting for install with the rest of the flooring. Looking forward to your visit next week!
